UNIX System Engineer/DevOps M/F

• System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based systems (e.g., debian, IBM400, Linux). Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and efficiently running. 
• Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system performance, analyze system logs, and troubleshoot issues. Implement performance tuning and capacity planning as needed. 
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Python,
  Anisble & Terraform). Implement automated solutions to streamline system management and deployment. 
• Cloud: Design and implement solutions based on public cloud facilities. 
• Security: Implement and manage security policies and controls. Regularly update systems with security patches and monitor for potential vulnerabilities. 
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible. 
• Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Unix-based systems. Address and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams (networking, database, application) to ensure integrated and efficient system operations. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Bachelor's degree (engineer or university) 
Experience: 3-4 years working experience
